June Uganda Letter
“Expect Great Things From God, Attempt Great Things For God”
June 12, 2012
Dear Partners in Ministry,
Thank you so much for your generous support for our work in Uganda. Today our team leaves for Uganda. We are so grateful for each of you—you have been more than generous. The new church in Uganda is beautiful, holds 500 worshippers and should last 50 or more years. This past week we helped build a 2 km road up to the top of the mountain so that even more people can come!
Your generosity has resulted in our being able to provide medicine for more than one thousand people, a larger transmitter for our radio station, a fence around our clinic, the new church facility, 140 benches for two churches, a pulpit, funds for conferences and crusades, translators and extra doctors and nurses, our transportation and so much more. Thank you!!! It is an honor to represent the Lord, and you too!
As the team departs, we ask for your regular prayers:
1. Safety throughout the trip for all our team, Ugandan pastors, and translators 2. Good health throughout the trip 3. Open hearts to the Gospel 4. Safe arrival of all equipment 5. For hundreds of people to surrender to Christ as Lord and Savior 6. That we would truly love the Acholi and Sabiny people. 7. Pray for the spiritual growth of our churches during our absence. 8. Pray that our families will be kept from loneliness or worry. 9. Faithfully treat 2000 patients in our mobile clinics in 12 churches 10. Our partners in Uganda, including our Ugandan Team and the missionaries who work full time.
With Joy,
Pete W. Anderson
