Dear Praying Friends,
Thank you so much for your prayers and financial support for the trip to Uganda. More than ever before we needed your prayers. There were times when we were in physical danger and other times when we encountered tremendous spiritual evil. But in Christ we are more than conquerors! Now we are celebrating the victories won and rejoicing over the lives claimed for the Lord Jesus.
This was my fifth trip to Uganda and I can testify to God’s goodness and power: seven church buildings, four pastor’s houses, and a medical clinic are complete. The Gospel continues to go forward in several languages and in new places. Many people have come to faith in Christ and lives have been transformed. When I was asked to speak at a conference to most of the Presbyterian pastors in Uganda, I was overjoyed to see men who were converted during our first visit now joining me in pastoral work! God allowed me to go deeper into Africa than I had ever gone. Our new church in Kamunarugut, which is just a few kilometers from Kenya, was completely filled the first Sunday and people were standing outside.
God shook me up on this trip, yet I eagerly hope and pray that He will continue to allow me to return to Uganda and minister there. Four times we were robbed. We ministered in a village where most of the residents practiced witchcraft. Daily we experienced God’s grace and protection and all those on our team grew and had their faith stretched. Already, several have indicated their willingness to return. Again, thank you for partnering with me.
Peter W. Anderson, Pastor

Kamunarugut is a village just a few kilometers from Kenya.
There was an overflow crowd the first Sunday and many people heard the Gospel for the first time. This is the only Christian church in this village. |

Kaserem Christian Medical Clinic is located next to the new church facility. The building contains a reception area, doctors' offices, two examining rooms, two patient rooms and a small pharmacy. On the front of the clinic is a sign that says, "Built in Loving Memory of Dr. Michael K. Yancey." Dr. Yancey was a member at Trinity who died in January. |

Kaserem Presbyterian Church was started last year and continues to grow. Pray for Pastor Christopher and his family as they minister in a very needy area. Pastor Christopher's wife is a nurse and will help in the clinic. Pray also for the Christian medical workers we are
training for full-time ministry here. |
